Drop by to meet a few plants that are packed with color! See and smell a few dye vats and watch the process of dyeing with plants as it happens. Visit the Remaking the Renaissance Exhibition with curator Dr. Sophie Pitman to see a display of colorful textiles dyed with natural dyes following Renaissance recipes, and learn about the ways color changes over time and has cultural meaning.

This event is part of the UW 175th Anniversary Community Open House.  This is a collaboration between the Allen Centennial Gardens and the Center for Design and Material Culture, School of Human Ecology.
