Washburn Observatory
Description
Visit historic Washburn Observatory and its 1879 telescope. The observatory dome will be open to visitors regardless of sky conditions.
This event is part of the 2024 Science Expeditions. Science Expeditions is an annual public event that invites the community to interact with researchers, visit science venues, participate in interactive exploration stations, and more. This year’s Science Expeditions, which takes places during UW–Madison’s 175th anniversary, is co-hosted with the 175th community open house.
