Description

The Chican@ & Latin@ Studies Program and the Latine Student Union present “Being Latine at UW-Madison”, an overview of the impact that the Chicane & Latine students, faculty, and staff community has had at UW. We will discuss the impact of Latine student activism, memorable moments of Latine history on campus, and its challenges in advancing a historically marginalized community. The project will highlight the 175th Anniversary & celebrate many achievements of the Latine campus community at UW.
