Description
Did you know that the UW-Madison is the birthplace of satellite meteorology? Learn more during the Atmospheric Oceanic and Space Sciences (AOSS) annual open house in conjunction with the campus-wide Science Expeditions and the UW 175th Open House. View real-time satellite imagery on a 3D globe and interact with scientists, students and academic staff in the lobby before ascending to the roof for a spectacular birds-eye view of the Madison skyline.
This event is part of the 2024 Science Expeditions. Science Expeditions is an annual public event that invites the community to interact with researchers, visit science venues, participate in interactive exploration stations, and more. This year’s Science Expeditions, which takes places during UW–Madison’s 175th anniversary, is co-hosted with the 175th community open house.
