Office of Business Engagement

The Office of Business Engagement connects businesses and industries with the resources they need to achieve their goals. It helps businesses of all sizes facilitate seamless access across the university community. Its team works closely with businesses to understand relevant interests and needs, bring together contacts and experts from across campus, and develop strategies for a successful business relationship.

In addition, the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW–Madison is part of a statewide network of SBDCs working with business owners and entrepreneurs to facilitate business growth and improvement and to launch successful new companies. Through no-cost consulting and low-cost entrepreneurial education, SBDC experts serve as resources for small and emerging midsize companies. The Wisconsin SBDC network is a proud part of the Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship in the University of Wisconsin System and is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
